The Six most talked about Multi-parters!

Happy Premiere anniversary everybody! I have been thinking a lot about what to talk about in honor of this special day and I finally settled on something early this morning. I've noticed a trend on the internet. Some people really like to say that certain things are "Better" or "The Best" and they hope you'll click on it and you'll agree that it really is better or best. I personally don't want to say what is the best, after all I'm running a fan-site not an ultra-opinion site. Even though my opinion does come out a lot. Anyways in the spirit of trying to help everyone enjoy the Power-Rangers Anniversary, I am not going to declare these the "Best" stories. You can watch them yourself and decide if you think they are. I personally love the list I am about to give you. Mainly because it has a lot Power Rangers stuff on it. However I wouldn't say everyone of these stories is perfect. So like the title says these are the most talked about the Multi-parters! Number 1-Green with Evil (MMPR s1)- Rita turns Tommy evil, He sends Jason to the Dark Dimension, The Dragonzord is introduced, Scropina is introduced, and there's that epic battle in the fourth episode! Truth of the matter is, there were very few kids tv shows that did five-parters in the Nineties, so kudos to power-rangers for doing this. Also it's Tommy's first story, So yeah! Plus they gave us a really great cliffhanger in part 2. Number 2- White Light (MMPR s2)- Lord Zedd creates a Monster called Nimrod, (a female monster) who can multiply herself and who was able to easily overpower the Thunder Megazord, One of the most amazing Bulk and Skull plots ever, and Tommy becoming the White Ranger. Sure it's only two episodes but it's still one of the most amazing PR events ever. It really grips you at certain moments. Also back in the day we didn't know for sure Tommy was going to be the White Ranger but we all wanted him to be.

Number 3-Ninja Quest (MMPR s3)- This is the one that was on Television, not the Theatrical story. That being said however it has many wild moments. The Rangers doing one last classic morph, The Megazords being destroyed, That scene where Adam and Rocky have to hold Kimberly back and she screams "No!", The desert quest, Bulk and Skull's police training montage, Which even includes a song written just for that episode, The battle against Vampirus, and if you're into it, the Rangers playing Volleyball! (they're not morphed while doing it, it's just cooler to say Rangers than Teens) This was a four-part event. It was a lot of fun, and if I'm being honest it does actually fit better into the chronology then the Movie does since the movie features so many strange elements that mix things up. Anyways both have great moments. Number 4- The Psycho Rangers saga (PRIS s6)-I already did a full article on the Psychos themselves entitled "The First Evil Team." You can learn a lot about the psychos there. Incidentally this is the longest of these stories. It was six episodes! The Psychos were tricky, cunning, deadly, and imaginative. They even put innocent people in full danger just to draw the Rangers out. As their plans advanced they set up a system to detect The Rangers' voices, And then Cassie had to try not to talk as she was cornered by them without the others, so yeah pretty wild! The Psycho Rangers were truly in a league all their own. Number 5-Reflections (SPD s13) Sky meets the monster who killed his father! Also there's a creature called Slate who can assume the appearance of other monsters. It's just two episodes. That being said it is a very gripping story. Mirloc is just amazing. Mirloc is one of the scariest monsters in SPD, more because of what he can do then because of how he looks. Mirloc can transport between any reflective surface. He even escapes his prison cell through Sky's tear. Also Jack's Battlizier is pretty cool, I also like the sub-plot with Piggy in this story. Number 6-Dark Wish (PRMF s14) Imperious captures Genji and forces him to grant a wish that wipes out the power-rangers' abilities. The Rangers have to go on a quest to have the wish undone, with help from a surprise ally. If you ignore the continuity issues like how technically if it's a realty where's The MF team didn't assemble why didn't other Rangers show up or how come Morticon didn't come back, then you can just enjoy this story. At this time power-rangers was on Jetix and Jetix called this their Power Rangers "Block-Buster" ! Did they over-sell it? maybe a bit! However it is a fun three-parter. It even has an episode that's half in Black'N'White. The monsters featured in this story are called Fight-toe and Fifty-Below. Fight-toe is a dog and Fifty-below has Ice Powers. Strong points for imaginative names! Happy premiere anniversary, sorry this was a long article. I tried to keep the endings a secret here so you'd be more enticed to watch these stories and decide for yourself if they really are worth all their praise. We have now reached One-Hundred and Ten Articles, please stay tuned!

Multi-parters are clearly something you like. They frustrate me, because I want to see the ending! But they do allow a lot more time for character development. Go Go Power rangers!
