Never Trust Deviot! A wicked General indeed!

Another villain I've been eager to talk about is Deviot. By this point in the PRLG series Socrpius was getting desperate, and he really was eager to get the Rangers destroyed. In addition Trakeena left. In the past Socrpius had always checked the backgrounds on every general he employed. However in his frustrated state he gave Deviot a chance after one official meeting. Socrpius's cocoon was said to be a source of incredible power. Power that had been passed down through his family for generations. Socrpius was unwilling to share this power with anyone outside of his family. Deviot wanted this power a lot. His first big evil plot involved the Centorian and Stratoforce Megazords. He had captured them many years ago. The Megazords were controlled by a green monster named Hardtochoke and powered up by energy stolen from Kai and Damon. The Galaxy Rangers discovered the secrets of the Evil Megazords with the help of the Galaxy Book and foiled Deviot's first plan. Deviot claimed he needed the power of the Cocoon now more than ever. But Socrpius was still unwilling to share. Deviot hatched a new plan and convinced Socrpius that the Rangers had kidnapped his daugther. Deviot convinced the Rangers that Bombs had been set-up in a warehouse on Terra Venture. The Rangers and Socrpius each believing in different lies engaged in a epic fight. Leo once again turned the tide of battle and finished Sorcipus off. Trakeena returns to the ship in the end of the episode and foils Deviot's chance to enter the cocoon.

Though she was strongly reluctant at first Trakeena grew to trust Deviot over time. He constantly looked for opportunities to destroy her. Deviot tricked Villamax into trusting him as well. Deviot was the one who resurrected the Psycho Rangers and he brought in many more ruthless characters as well. Deviot's schemes all ended in failure. He then tried to trap the Rangers in the "Lost Galaxy" and briefly joined up with Captain Mutiny. He continued to pursue power for himself no matter who he was working for. Deviot and Trakeena fought one more time in "Journey's End part 1." They entered the Cocoon at the same time and Trakeena emerged victorious. Trakeena earned one of Deviot's arm shooters as a spoil of war. Deviot's design was reused and altered for monsters in Wildforce and SPD. One of these redesigns was featured in The Time Force team-up. His character was voiced by Bob Papenbrook. Ed Neil was Deviot's in suit actor. Hardtochoke was voiced by Ken Marckxs. Deviot was a truly edgy villain and only looked out for himself but that was part of what made him really wild to watch! The ambition of power corrupts many and Deviot is a fine example of the worst of his kind!
