I recently dedicated an article to my very least favorite Blue Ranger, Kevin Douglas, and now today we will be focusing on the counter to him, My Favorite Blue Ranger. However I wish to say before continuing that everyone is welcome to their own favorites, so I am not forcing my opinion. With that said, It's Chad Lee from Lightspeed Rescue who I personally put on top. Chad has terrific martial arts skills. He has powerful weapons, including his Mega-battle armor he gets in the 26th episode. He's always there to help his friends. Chad's Sensei master Tamashiro had a very dramatic personality. It was interesting to see how Cyclopator turned them against each other in that episode. Chad has proven to be out of the box thinker at times. He comes up with dramatic plans like swimming to reach the Submarine bay when the passage was flooded, and his elaborate trap to reobtain the Trident in the episode with King Neptune. Chad is also great with animals and always listens to them, especially sea creatures.
Chad is played by Michael Chaturantabut, I have been following him on Instagram. He is now running his own real martial Arts training program and giving back to his fans. I am very proud to say I admire him as an actor and a Ranger. I still strongly ship Chad and Kelsey as mentioned in my first couple article; "Chad and Kelsy Opposites Attract?" However I by no means dislike Marina the Mermaid, I'm just not really enthusiastic about that relationship. Personally I mainly enjoy how Marina becomes sorta of a rival for Vipra and I mostly enjoy their interactions in those episodes, more than the supposed romance of Marina and Chad. Chad's rescue zords have powerful water and ice attacks. His Rail Rescue also has the cold turbine attack for the Super Train Megazord. Chad had one return appearance during the Timeforce team-up "Time For Lightspeed." Now there's one other issue I think I will address real quick. My favorite and least favorite Blue Rangers both have backgrounds in water sports. They also have strong Martial arts talents. They also have some trouble initially making friends on the show. In short Chad is Kevin "Better Written" as the old saying goes This is also a result of Samurai trying to be edgy with their characters. A mark that in my opinion they often missed. What's modern is not always better. We can learn a lot from great Characters of the past! Long live Chad Lee Blue Lightspeed Ranger!
Nice blog. Quite a few misspelled words in this one. Enthusiastic, mark, enthused... I love the pictures. I am learning to look and see how they match with the huge number of characters in your essay. Having the blue ranger connected with water makes sense to me. And how nice there is a mermaid in it also. Congratulations on getting another story written, while still caring for your house and Singer.
