This is another villain tribute. It's all about Lothor. Originally known as Kia Watanabe. His origin story is shown in "Samurai's Journey" by means of time travel. However when first introduced on the show he comes on as a fully powered super villain. Lothor is shown to be a very focused battle tactician. He has stated in his own words "You don't just wake up, one day and decide to take over a planet!" He has a flare for the dramatic. Lothor also revels in having epic battles with his opponents. He doesn't want to defeat them if they're not at full strength. Lothor has a cell phone like device used to control his monsters known as P.A.M. (short for Personal Alien Manager). Lothor is kind of a jokester but telling when he is joking is not always easy. During his time at the Wind Ninja Academy Lothor stole the valuable "Scroll of Destiny" which he comes to value as his most prized possession. Lothor uses the scroll as his final plan in the season finale. The Rangers work hard to stop him and foil his plans. Lothor's personal zord was featured in the final fight but when it was built was never revealed.
Lothor is also featured in the Ninja Storm\ Dino Thunder Team-up. Lothor and Kanoi are twin brothers both played by the same actor. His name is Grant Mcfarland. .Their younger selves are played by Daniel Sing. Two actors, four different character translations. Kanoi is the opposite to his brother in many ways including Kanoi's commitment to helping people in need, and his brother's ability to find sheer pleasure in watching others suffer. Kanoi referred to by the Rangers as Sensei guides the team well in their struggles against Lothor despite the spell which has trapped him in the form of a Guinea Pig. Although it has not been fully confirmed it is likely he was once married during his space travels and that might explain how he ended up with nieces who Kanoi does not at first recognize. Lothor loves to brag about himself and has a strong ego. He is one of the wildest villains the show has ever featured in more ways than one. Lothor is a deadly fighter and even came close to destroying the Rangers in their final battle. The Power Rangers villains legacy is filled with many insane characters but there is only one Lothor!
