This tribute is for Jerome Stone. He has also been commonly referred to as Lieutennt Stone even though he is only a cop during Fifty-two out of Ninety-seven episodes. Jerome is introduced in the third part of Ninja Quest. He says to Bulk and Skull, "I can be your best friend or your worst enemy. The choice is yours." He proves to be a very firm boss for the most part. He's sort of like a straight man for the famous comedy duo. He has not had many interactions with the Rangers outside of their human lives. I will note that he has interacted with Katherine a lot and she helped him bond with his niece in "Cars Attacks." Meanwhile he has tried to discipline Bulk and Skull only to often run into more trouble because of them. Jerome idolizes Sherlock Holmes. When the three of them are fired as cops, he opens a Detetective Agency hoping to follow in his hero's footsteps. The group does okay as detectives but again they have both hits and misses. During the Zeo Finale Bulk and Skull meet a mysterious stranger who offers them a job in France. Jerome fails to stop them from leaving but swears they'll be back.
He had a cameo during the Turbo Movie, which matches up with the first episode of that season. Bulk and Skull botch two assignments in a row because of Elgar. In the movie Elgar brainwashes them and they end up on Muiranthais and in the first episode of Turbo they are turned into Chimps. Ernie is called up by Greenpeace and leaves the Juice bar in Jerome's hands. He ends up taking care of the Chimps or at least trying to never realizing who they really are. Ironically enough he seems thrilled when Bulk and Skull return in "Stitch Witchery." He has a generally calm demeanor but does sometimes get easily scarred. Bulk and Skull's worst enemy? Certainly not, if anything they're his! However when this trio succeeds, I have seen them all strongly smile. Jerome Stone is played by Greg Bullock. He has ocassionally fallen under Monster spells. Jerome was the first adult character to really get involved in the chaos of the show. Ernie may have been given occasional focus but he almost never stepped outside his precious Juice Bar. Jerome can easily be seen as a pioneer for adult characters to come. And also an example of what not to do; Get involved with Bulk and Skull!
