Racing straight from the future to help save the past, Lucas Kendall shows incredible spirit and tough endurance as a powerful Blue Ranger. He is a valuable member of the Time Force team. It has been said Lucas can drive any machine, although we never got to see him drive an airplane (seems like a missed opportunity to me). Lucas was a very laid back character, he liked to go with the flow a lot and I appreciate that. Lucas was a racecar driver in the year 3000. In Lucas' first focus episode he is stopped by a cop for speeding. He shows him his futuristic license which the cop immediately dimissies. Lucas has to register for an official Sliver Hills License. Nadira and a monster are engaged in a crime spree and Lucas interrupts his test to try and catch them. In the process his trainer is injured and scared. In a later episode Lucas had to attend a Road Rage class as well. The teacher was surprisingly intrigued when he learned Lucas was a former race car driver and asks him to be his teacher at the end of the episode. This episode also reveals a mutant named Dash who was once Lucas' rival. With the exception of his female teammates who are in complicated love situations, girls regularly fold over him. He enjoys the attention. Lucas is a strong ladies man. He is a daring fighter and an energetic character. I also enjoyed the fun plot of "Bodyguard in Blue" as well.
Lucas and Trip have a very strong friendship. Though Trip does annoy him sometimes. Lucas and Katie are a dynamic fighting team. Lucas also grew to quickly develop a strong respect for Wes. Jen trusts Lucas fully and is glad to have him as part of the team. I do not support Lucas and Nadira because this couple didn'y really grab me but to be fair they didn't give this pair a lot of screen time. If you like it that's fine. I think Lucas would be better off with someone else. I don't have a solid person for him but I hope he has a good life. He's a cool hero and a fun Power Ranger. At this time as I was growing up My mom made up a rule that we watch less TV during the Summer. So I actually missed the first airing of several Time Force episodes. I got to see many of these as Reruns on Jetix on Toon Disney. However one episode I kept missing was "The Last Race" which I finally found in pieces on YouTube when I was in my late High school years. It's not an ultimately fantastic episode although it is really cool that Lucas used reasoning in this episode in addition to his powers. Anyways finding those videos was such a wild moment for me and it feels like a victory just because it was something I put a lot of effort into. Anyways Lucas' last appearance was in the Wild Force Team-up and he once again helps to save the world so yeah he's a hero to the end. Lucas is played by Michael Copon. Many more epic characters will be added here soon.
